Online registration for the Bonfield Express 5K is currently CLOSED. Registration for the 2015 Bonfield Express will open in the summer.
2014 Registration Rates
Early Online Registration until Nov. 21 at 10:00 PM $25 individual/$85 family
On-site registration at the Wellness Center on Nov. 22-23 $30 individual/$100 family
On-site registration on Nov. 26 at Downers Grove Community Bank $35 individual ONLY
On-site registration at Tivoli Theatre on race day (Nov. 27) $35 individual ONLY
Race Packet Information
Race registration includes bib number, chip timing, and a FREE tech shirt for the first 5,500 registered runners who pick up their packets. We take pride in keeping our early registration for individuals at a low rate of $25! This rate remains the lowest registration fee in the area for any Thanksgiving day race.

Course Information
Course Description
The 5K race starts at Main and Grove Streets in downtown Downers Grove. The course begins with a loop around the downtown area. After the first mile, the course enters the beautiful, wooded neighborhood of Denburn Woods. The route passes the second mile just before it exits Denburn Woods. Finally, runners will complete a small neighborhood loop before returning to downtown for the finish line on Curtiss Street.
The course is USATF Certified (Certification Code- IL-08108-JW)
Course Safety
For your safety and the safety of all participants, no dogs are allowed on the 5K course. We also ask that walking strollers start behind the other runners at the starting line. Thank you for respecting the safety of others.
